Description: Come out to the first official Bridges to the Future event of 2011. Bridges to the Future wants to empower youth in setting goals and working to attain them. The first step is to learn how to be an effective goal setter. In this Saturday morning gathering, youth will learn about setting SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely) goals, and begin to start setting their own goals.
In addition to learning about setting goals, Bridges youth will have the opportunity to meet and network, play ice-breaker/get to know each other games, and munch on Tim Horton's snacks.

If you have already set your own goals, come to this Bridges event to share your experiences with other youth and act as a peer mentor.
RSVP: Please let Kim know that you will be attending by Monday, January 24, 2011. Her e-mail is kim.stewart@muscle.ca and phone number is 604.742.2155.

Thank you to Vancouver Board of Parks and Rec for donating the venue =) Woot!
